A very significant project activity is the visit of our team member Dr. Dušan Tripković to the Argon National Laboratory in Chicago, USA. As a visiting scientist at the Argonne National Laboratory, he had the opportunity to collaborate with, prof. Dr. Nenad Marković and do experiments related to research on our project.
The presence of our team members at international scientific conferences also contributed to the promotion of our project as well as the exchange of knowledge with colleagues dealing with similar topics. New contacts were made with the participants of the conference and preliminary discussions on the way to implement future cooperation began. During the second quarter, all team members achieved significant results in terms of publication and presentation of project results. Five poster presentations were presented at international conferences.
A paper with the title „Cu sub-monolayer decorated Pd/C and Pt/C as electrocatalyst for ethanol oxidation in alkaline solution” was presented at the 8th Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry of South-East Europe in Graz, Austria on 11-15 July, 2022. The poster was presented by team member Maja Obradović.
Three poster presentations with the title:
„Microwave-assisted polyol synthesis of Pt based catalysts for ethanol oxidation reaction”, „Electrocatalytic properties of Pt thin film deposited on different supports for methanol oxidation reaction: Influence of controlled heat treatment” and „Influence of treatment of various carbon supports on electrochemical activity of Pt catalysts” were presented at the 4th International Congress of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ICCCEB&H 2022 in Sarajevo, BIH on 30. June - 3 July 2022. The mentioned posters were presented at the conference by Sanja Stevanovic, Nebojsa Nikolic and Dragana Milosevic.
A paper with the title „Platinum nanoparticles supported on bacterial nanocellulose for ethanol electrooxidation” was presented by Sanja Stevanović, at the XXIII YuCorr Conference at Divčibare Mountain, Serbia on 16-19 May 2022.
Paper funded by the Science Fond with Grant No. AdCatFC: 7739802, titled „Morphology and Structure of Electrochemically Synthesized Tin Dendritic Nanostructures" was published in Metals journal in July 2021.

oxidation of ethanol in an alkaline solution" and „Morphological
and Structural Characterization of Tin Dendritic Nanostructures Produced
by Various Electrodeposition Processes” .
Dušan Tripković presented his
work in the form of an oral presentation (title of the presentation:
"Influence of substrate and thermal annealing on the catalytic activity
and stability of Pt thin-film catalysts", at the 23rd annual conference
IUCOMAT, 2022, August 31-September 5, 2022, Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
One poster presentation was
presented at XV International scientific conference of chemists, technologists,
and environmentalists of Republic of Srpska, October 21-22, 2022. Title of the
